Installation & Setup Guide

Welcome to PrintShop Manager. This guide walks you through downloading, installing, and initializing our offline-first ERP software on your Windows workstations.

System Requirements

Before launching the installer, verify that your computer meets the following hardware parameters:

  • Operating System: Windows 10/11 (64-bit version)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 (or equivalent)
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM (16 GB recommended for high-volume offset layout operations)
  • Disk Space: 2 GB free disk space (SSD recommended)
  • Network: An active Ethernet/Wi-Fi connection is required only for initial product activation and background cloud analytics syncing.

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Download the Setup File: Navigate to the Download Center and download the file PrintShop_Manager_Setup.exe.
  2. Verify the Installer Signature: Optionally, run a file hash check to verify the file matches the public checksum:
    Get-FileHash .\PrintShop_Manager_Setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256

  3. Run the Installer: Double-click the installer executable. If windows flags the warning Unknown publisher, select More info and then choose Run anyway.
  4. Complete the Installation Wizard: Choose your installation folder (defaults to C:\Program Files\PrintShop Manager), and select if you would like a desktop shortcut. Click Install.
  5. Launch & Setup Workspaces: Launch the application. You will be prompted to select:
    • Local-Only Mode: Keeps databases local to the machine, secure and air-gapped.
    • Cloud-Sync Mode: Connects your local transactions to the web-based manager portal.

Common Installation Troubles

System flags "Missing VC++ Redistributable"

Our database driver bindings require the C++ visual libraries. Download and install the official Microsoft visual package: Download VC++ Redistributables

Database write permission errors

If the local database cannot write records, ensure the app folder has user write permissions or launch the console as Administrator.
